August 2004, The Miss Plus America pageant crowned her the Ambassador of their organization, again making history by becoming the first. Through her work with the Miss Plus America pageant she has made appearances throughout the United States and Canada spreading her message of “Positive Body Image” to millions of women and men.

Besides being a beauty queen, Chenese is also a plus size model and actress in Los Angeles, where she advocates positive portrayals of plus size women in the media. She is extremely passionate about the empowerment of plus size women and with her growing popularity has become a positive role model in the plus size community. Chenese shows by example, that you can be beautiful and confident regardless of your size!

Chenese is the new spokesperson for the Love Your Body Wristbands.
