What could be more wonderful than to relax and love your body? There is so much pressure, from all directions, to be dissatisfied with your body and change it in one way or another. Right now, the “war on obesity” is reaching a fever pitch. The scientific and medical communities behind this campaign seem to have good intentions. But the result is that we feel more and more hateful of the body we have, and even further, full of fear that our flesh is going to shorten our lives. We all know that diets fail. Weight loss surgery is dangerous and has no long-term studies. A more positive approach is in health at every size and loving your body!
Belief is an incredibly strong persuader. If you believe your body is bad for your health, then you open the door for that notion to become a reality. If you believe that your body is precious and provides the vehicle for you to experience life regardless of size, then you open the door to a wealth of positive possibilities.
